Losing someone is hard. There’s no manual on what to do next, how long to grieve, or you should treat people this way and they treat you that. It’s a different process for everyone and no one can push you to go faster than is comfortable for you.

  1. Give yourself time
    – The loss of any loved one is tough. They say “time heals all wounds” but this isn’t something you typically heal from but it does eventually get easier.
  2. Support
    – During this time, it’s important to surround yourself with family and friends that are supportive! People who are actually there for you when you need themĀ is crucial for getting through the rough patches.
  3. Don’t Get Stuck
    – It’s so important that you don’t get stuck in your grief. Remember all the great adventures you did with them but don’t stay in your memories permanently! Visit often but come back to your present and move towards the future!
